After the closure of the AKG company in Vienna, they wanted to create something new and challenging. This vision became reality: Austrian Audio opened in July 2017.
With a wealth of experience and the mission "Making Passion Heard", the team was ready to take on the industry giants. Ready to produce products that you would expect, sonically and technically, from a company with such a history.
Starting with a core team of 22 former AKG employees and employees from the areas of management, acoustics, electronics, test and measurement, mechanical design, wireless technology and software and firmware, the company is now growing steadily and organically.
Austrian Audio as a start-up has skills, knowledge and tradition from over 350 years of combined experience.
